now i'm really convinced that art and science do mix. especially in installations. impossibility of the SUPERSTRING THEORY? topograhical drawings? oh and something about the mind and tuning fork? constructing a sugar temple? need to work closely with structural engineers! now i believe that physics IS everywhere. lol. honestly, i still cant appreciate video installations and this sort of "contemporary art". the theme of the biennale is "wonder", but apart from the occasional "oohs" & "ahhs" from the occasional beautiful works, it's more of "huhs?" that i experienced. i dont think it's just me. i saw some people going to view a video installation, and then leaving the room totally unenlightened. perhaps the artists ideas and beliefs dont resonate well among us? hmm. oh, there was a nice surprise in stall for us at city hall! in e form of the spore-grandprix-first-ever-night-race-pre-race-practice! woohoo! f1 for $5! lol, ok cheap thrill.
